No updates, but I'm finding out that I really just use this to post to ONTD. I don't post at any other community really because usually ONTD covers the stuff I don't care about to things like film and television that I do like to talk about. Plus some off topic stuff. So...sorry, I guess.

I recently finished the first season of Mad Men and it is amazing. All of the hype and it delivered. The characters are so amazingly layered and complex, even though on the surface, they can seem like cliches. Now tomorrow can't come soon enough.

As for the Emmys, well, Jon Hamm deserves the nomination. However, I was disappointed that Vincent Kartheiser, Elizabeth Moss, January Jones, and Christina Hendricks were not nominated. Oh well, apparently it still leads in nominations and all that.

I decided at the beginning of the year to track all the movies I see and see if I can get to a hundred. In any past year, this wouldn't be hard. However, I was off to college last fall and didn't know what to expect, so I canceled my Netflix and have yet to get it back. But, here's my progress as of, actually, today.

I didn't follow all of the insane viral marketing for The Dark Knight like some die-hard fans.  However, while on ONTD last night, I saw this and luckily it was early enough that I scored a ticket to the one nearest me.  I can't believe it, especially since, like I said, I didn't follow the viral stuff, I only read about all of it on various blogs.  I was already planning on seeing it Saturday, but now I get to see it on the Tuesday before.  On an IMAX screen.  For free.

I'm not one of those that needs to see it at midnight, nor will I be dressing up in costume or whatever for this screening.  I'll probably wear a black t-shirt though or something, so I blend in...a little.

But, yeah, I'm excited.

The Mole is one of the best reality shows created from the swarm that were spawned from the success of Survivor way back in 2000. Unfortunately, it proved too complex and smart for the general public and was axed from American television after two season (and no, celebrity seasons will never count), while shows like The Simple Life lived on. But it's back!

Who is the mole? )
